It seems as though conservative consumers can’t find a national retail store that doesn’t support left-wing causes but a watchdog group has a solution.
“We always recommend through 2nd Vote that people shop locally,” advises Dr. David L Black of 2nd Vote, a conservative watchdog for corporate activism. “Shop with the people that you go church with, or that you are in Rotary Club with, or your local organizations.”
Why? The further your dollar is removed from your community, 2nd Vote argues, the more it engages in behavior that you likely oppose.
“Tax dollars go off to Washington, D.C. and then we’re dictated from Washington, D.C. on what we should do locally,” Black ways. “That happens, too, when your dollars go off to these ‘big box’ corporations.”
