In a stunning flip-flop, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says he’s now going to bring a bill to the Senate floor that includes the most sweeping government overhaul of U.S. healthcare in history. In addition to creating a government-run insurance program, Reid’s plan would require citizens to purchase their own insurance, penalize companies for uninsured workers, and tax premium healthcare policies.
