America is on the verge of civil war. Our Catholic bishops, in a frenzy to flee criminal investigators, are helpless.
In fact, they have been AWOL for years.
According to the Pew Research Center, most American Catholics don’t even believe that the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ. For the past 50 years, our shepherds have ignored teaching that vital magisterial truth, as well as others — prime example: Humanae Vitae.
Instead, they have supplanted the hard truths of the Magisterium with the sappy, flaccid sentimentalism of social justice. For years they have allied politically with pro-abortion Democrats and mindlessly supplied them with moralistic palaver to stoke their hatred of the Church, Her teaching and Her faithful.
