SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – A biased California judge dropped six of the 15 bogus charges filed against David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt related to their undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood, which resulted in shocking videos that alarmed Americans nationwide. The videos revealed how Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry actively sell the body parts of aborted babies for dubious research.
The bad news for the pro-life undercover journalists is that their case will proceed to criminal trial in San Francisco Superior Court.
The judge dropped six counts against Daleiden and Merritt, but ruled that there is sufficient evidence to support nine counts of breaking California’s anti-eavesdropping law during their undercover investigations of Planned Parenthood’s trafficking of aborted baby body parts.
Attorneys from the Thomas More Society, including Vice President and Senior Counsel Peter Breen, were by their side as the news of the dropped charges were announced. They are defending Daleiden from persecution by the California attorney general. ….
