WASHINGTON, DC – Planned Parenthood and its political supporters appeared to be playing dirty tricks Wednesday in the preliminary hearing for undercover journalist David Daleiden.

During the second day of the hearing, the Center for Medical Progress reported that California Attorney General Xavier Becerra’s office switched the order of witnesses in an apparent attempt to interfere with the defense, who had been preparing for a different witness. He switched the order at the request of the abortion giant.

Daleiden and Sandra Merritt face 15 felony charges for invasion of privacy because they exposed the abortion chain’s gruesome baby body parts trade. Tuesday began a nine-day preliminary hearing about whether the case should go to trial, Courthouse News reports.

They believe their prosecution is politically motivated by politicians like Becerra and Kamala Harris, who received huge campaign donations from the abortion industry. No other journalists have been prosecuted for similar undercover investigations under California law, they contend.

The witnesses testifying against Daleiden and Merritt were granted anonymity by the court after abortion activists complained about security concerns. ….
