Fr. Mark Mary of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal provided three ways we can examen our consciences, simply by using a 3×5 notecard! The method is called the “3×5 Examen.”

Here’s What You Do:

Your 5-minute Examination of Conscience:

1) Give thanks for 5 things that have happened in your day

2) Think of 5 ways you failed in your day, asking for God’s mercy

3) Look forward to the rest of your day, thinking of 5 things you may need help with, and praying for God’s help
