Washington, DC – The number of independent abortion clinics that ceased operations in 2025 reached 23 as of October, nearly double the 12 closures recorded in 2024 and matching the 23 from 2023

The report from the pro-abortion group “Abortion Care Network” focuses on abortion centers not affiliated with the Planned Parenthood abortion company. They kill 58% of babies whose lives are ended in abortions.

These closures represent a significant step forward in the protection of unborn babies, as fewer facilities mean fewer places that kill children. Since the 2022 overturning of Roe v. Wade in Dobbs, a total of 100 independent clinics have closed nationwide, outpacing the 60 that have opened in pro-abortion states during the same time period. …
