The next Obama is here: His name is Zohran Mamdani, the likely next mayor of New York City. He’s a handsome, charismatic, gifted politician — Barack Obama with a beard, Bill Clinton with a tan.

Mamdani appeals to the young, disgruntled, and poorly educated. He gets them excited and fills them with vague, spurious hope. He also helps white elites and self-hating Jews feel virtuous and noble. So he’s going places.
