Cardinal Mauro Gambetti performed a special rite several days after a naked man hopped on the main altar at St. Peter’s, the words “Save children of Ukraina” written on his back. The Polish man had entered the basilica on Thursday at closing time, undressed, and jumped up on the marble altar. Italian police issued an expulsion order requiring the man to leave Italy.
