Lawyers in Texas are still fighting against the wishes of a hospital to save the life of a little girl.

In November 2019, physicians at Cook Children’s Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas triggered the state’s 10-day rule for then-nine-month-old Tinslee Lewis, giving the mother that much time to find another caregiver for her daughter before they would pull the plug. Attorneys filed suit, and to this day the little girl is still alive.

Kimberlyn Schwartz of Texas Right to Life says Tinslee has made some progress, but the doctors’ official prognosis has not changed. …
