A conservative activist is concerned that Chief Justice John Roberts could be the one who decides who wins the 2020 presidential election.

With less than two months to go to the election, the Trump campaign is confident; Trump’s campaign manager, Bill Stepien, recently told reporters that they have mapped out various strategies and scenarios that range from an electoral landslide for Trump to him being reelected by a bare majority.

Gary Bauer, president of American Values, says a close victory could prove problematic, as Biden’s team of lawyers is prepared to mount court challenges to the vote totals in key states.

“There could be a dozen states where we continue to – quote, unquote – ‘find boxes of uncounted ballots,'” Bauer warns. “That is a very dangerous thing. And, of course, if these state controversies go to our Supreme Court, it’s not at all clear what the outcome will be, mainly because Chief Justice Roberts in recent years seems to be moving further and further away from the philosophy of the people that actually put him on the Supreme Court.”  …
