A Catholic watchdog group wants an archdiocese to take action against a radio station in his charge in New Jersey.

Joseph William Cardinal Tobin, the Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey who handles Catholic affairs in the region, has been slow to react to an investigative report by the Lepanto Institute, a research and education organization dedicated to the defense of the Catholic Church against assaults from without as well as from within, on Seton Hall, a Catholic university.
“Seton Hall University has its own radio station, which is broadcasting day and night what’s called black metal or death metal music,” Institute President Michael Hichborn reports. “It’s satanic, it’s grotesque, it’s gory, and it’s violent, but it is absolutely demonic.”
“Hammer Smashed Face” by Cannibal Corpse, “Grasping Air” by Yob, and “Necromania” and “Doom Mantia” by Electric Wizard, the latter song with lyrics describing a ritual involving demon worship, are examples of the kind of music that has been allowed on the air since 1986. …
