By Fr. Paul D. Scalia, The Catholic Thing - If the Gospel were a western, (the Pharisees) would wear the black hats. They seem to be the ultimate bad guys... But that’s not really fair; the Sadducees were far worse. The Pharisees at least had some theological substance. The Sadducee did not believe in the immortality of the soul, the resurrection of the body, or angels. Such a truncated theology leads inevitably to a worldly way of thinking and acting. Money and power easily edge out devotion.

Rudman, a pro-choice Republican, had been Souter’s boss at the New Hampshire Office of the Attorney General. Yes, he and Biden were from opposing parties. But they were united by abortion.

At least three different nuns can be seen standing behind the president as he spoke Saturday night in Circleville, Ohio. The nuns, dressed in white, black and purple habits and wearing crosses around their necks, also wore black masks with the letters “MAGA” on them, were in the front row of the Trump rally.
