By Peter Kwasniewski, OnePeterFive - Judging from what the neo-modernists, aided and abetted by their hierarchical and artistic allies, have managed to do to churches in the name of “implementing the Council,” a traditional Catholic might be forgiven for thinking the Second Vatican Council is to blame for the invasion of sterility and ugliness into the domain of sacred art. Admittedly, the Council has its problems, but I agree with Benedict XVI that we should not swallow the tendentious, at times deliberately fallacious, interpretations of the Council given by “anarchic utopianists”
