To begin with, we can let, say, people in Rome wrangle over “tradition” versus “traditionalism,” a distinction Pope Francis tried to draw with his fellow Jesuits during his recent trip to Canada. While they work at that, the rest of us can recognize what Eliot did: that we need what the tradition has already discovered – the sifting of the wheat from the chaff – an achievement that is not the work of a single group of people who happen to be alive at any given moment, but of the real-world testing of truths and their application in many times and places.

By Church Militant - On the phone call, Gracias is conferring with the bishop on how to keep all this covered up by having a DNA paternity test done at a Catholic hospital, where he can exercise his influence and intimidate the hospital into not releasing the results. Again, no loyal son of the Church can remain indifferent to these monstrous evils and stick his head in the sand. They must be exposed and dealt with.

By Patrick Burke, The Washington Times - Perhaps the bigger scandal than the pending eternal punishment of Mr. Biden’s soul, however, are the actions of Pope Francis and Cardinal Wilton Gregory of Washington. Let us not forget that Francis and Gregory are both proteges of Theodore McCarrick, perhaps the most notorious of modern fallen U.S. clerics. I am quite sure their endorsements of Biden as a “good” Catholic have led to Biden’s increasing aggression in his sinful promotion of the killing of our most innocent and defenseless human beings.

Last week, he was in Canada to deliver an apology for the abuse suffered by indigenous children in schools run by the Catholic Church. He was rewarded with approving headlines — and an even better photo-opportunity involving a spectacular feather headdress. That may strike you as a cynical attitude to the Pope’s “penitential” journey. Then again, you may not be aware that, right now, Francis is protecting the interests of a sex abuser he made a bishop and then hid in the Vatican.
