The study also found that most women experienced emotions of relief rather than regret after abortion… But doctors, academics and pro-life activists told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the study is flawed and funded by those with a stake in the abortion movement… “These conclusions are based on extremely flawed statistics, with small numbers of actual participants, self-selected to participate,”….

Scientists Confirm Unborn Children Feel Pain During Abortions, as Early as 12 Weeks

By Micaiah Bilger, LifeNews - A “pro-choice” scientist is urging the medical community to put politics aside and consider growing evidence that unborn babies may feel pain as early as 12 weeks of pregnancy… In a January article in the “Journal of Medical Ethics,” Stuart Derbyshire, a professor at the National University of Singapore and expert in the science of pain, said the issue deserves further consideration… Pro-life advocates have been pointing to the evidence of early fetal pain for years, with the hopes of persuading the public to recognize the cruelty of abortion.

Munich Protest Requests ‘Clarity and Coherence’ From Pope Francis, German Bishops, by Edward Pentin

By Edward Pentin, National Catholic Register - Lay faithful from around the world stood for an hour in silent prayer in the center of the Bavarian city of Munich today to ask Pope Francis and Germany’s bishops for “clarity and coherence” and an end to “dissimulation and deception.”… The group of around 130 laity, including Germans, Italians, Americans, Austrians, Brazilians, Canadians and Chileans, made the appeal due to concerns about the German bishops’ two-year “synodal path” that fully gets underway with its first general assembly on Jan. 30.
