Looking at the Scholastic Aptitude Test, or the SAT, homeschoolers score about 72 points higher than the national average... Homeschoolers are still achieving well beyond their public school counterparts... Turning to the American College Test, or the ACT, the national average is 21 out of 36, whereas homeschoolers are just under 23 out of 36.
