And let me say with great emphasis that these leaders, including Russell Moore of the Southern Baptist Convention, don't speak for American Christendom. And I would say specifically Russell Moore doesn't speak for the vast majority of Southern Baptists that he frequently presents himself as representing."… But if Christians want to throw their money toward something that stands against what they believe and teach, McFarland says they are certainly free do so.
