Ron DeSantis (R.-Fla.) signing legislation that bans abortion after the unborn child has a detectable heartbeat—which occurs about six weeks into pregnancy... “The MAGA GOP is hell-bent on banning abortion across the country,” Schumer said... The Florida law that DeSantis signed is called the Heartbeat Protection Act.
