Some of these decisions might be mundane, others — like voting and taking care of your family — will be very important... the press in America is expected to expose lies, crime, corruption, and other misdeeds — and to hold powerful private and government officials to account... In both of these duties, the press in America has demonstrably — and seemingly intentionally — failed us.

Sadly, Cross may have taught his last lesson at the school following his refusal to lie to children. Speaking before the Loudoun County school board last week, Cross stated that he would not “affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa,” because children suffering from gender dysphoria need to be helped, not lied to.
