Justice Roberts Splits The Baby, by Thomas FitzGerald

By Thomas FitzGerald, American Conservative - The U.S. Supreme Court’s Chief Justice, John Roberts, has taken upon himself the Solomonic role of American philosopher king left vacant at Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement. Seemingly committed above all to the institutional legitimacy of the Court, Roberts has in the last few weeks cast a series of votes in the Bostock, Espinoza, and June Medical Services cases that appear to show him to be trying to placate both sides of America’s culture wars by offering something to each.

Blindsided by Roberts, Pro-Lifers Vow to ‘Keep Fighting’, by Chris Woodward

By Chris Woodward, OneNewsNow - In a 5-4 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against a Louisiana law regulating abortion clinics in the state. The law requires abortionists to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals, a requirement the court said violates abortion rights... Pro-life activists were surprised to witness Chief Justice John Roberts, a George W. Bush nominee, side with the court’s liberal justices. He ruled in favor of a similar Texas law in 2016 so was expected to rule similarly... “We are going to keep fighting,” Carol Tobias, speaking for National Right to Life...

Planned Parenthood Leaders Admit Under Oath to Harvesting Body Parts From Babies Born Alive, by Micaiah Bilger

By Micaiah Bilger, LifeNews - In her sworn testimony, Larton admitted that she has seen aborted babies’ hearts “beating independently” after they are born. She also confirmed that some aborted babies’ bodies are fully intact... Larton explained that most aborted babies come out of the womb in pieces, but sometimes ABR sees fully intact bodies. Asked about those situations, Larton replied, “They just, sometimes they fall out” of the mother when she delivers the baby in the abortion operating room. When questioned about how often that occurs, she replied, “Once every couple months.”

Five Justices vs. The People, by Tony Perkins

By Tony Perkins, Family Research Council - "Unnecessary." That's the word the majority of justices used to describe a law that would have kept 10,000 women a year safe. Women, who, when they walk through the doors of Louisiana's abortion centers every year, are under the assumption they'll be protected. That their doctors care. Jamie Lee would give anything to warn them -- to tell them to turn back and go home -- but she'll never have the chance. She bled to death in the back of her sister's car because her abortionist didn't want to call an ambulance over the seven-inch gash he put in her uterus... These are the third-world conditions the Left fought for -- and won...
