Anthony List said in a statement… Justice Clarence Thomas wrote a concurring opinion in which he agreed the court shouldn’t take up the case, However, he called it a “stark reminder that our abortion jurisprudence has spiraled out of control.”

Arkansas on March 15 banned abortion after 18 weeks. The same month, Utah, too, banned abortion after 18 weeks, and Mississippi banned abortion after it is possible to detect a fetal heartbeat… Ohio passed a similar “fetal heartbeat bill” in April. On May 7, Georgia, did too. Eight days later, Alabama passed a near-total ban on abortions, the most restrictive law since Roe v. Wade. On May 24, Missouri banned abortion after eight weeks; six days later, Louisiana signed its own heartbeat bill into law.

By Micaiah Bilger, LifeNews - Ohio lawmakers are nearing final passage of a budget that defunds the nation’s largest abortion provider and increases support for pregnant and parenting moms in the state… Fox News reports the Ohio Senate passed the two-year, $69 billion budget bill last week with a $1.5 million cut in funding to Planned Parenthood annually. The budget also includes $5 million for pregnancy resource centers – five times what the nonprofits have received in the past, according to the report.
