It’s the Weather: 40 Days for Life Kicks Off Its Largest Spring Campaign, by Aliya Kuykendall

By Aliya Kuykendall, The Stream - Being out in the cold and rain pays off. “We always see more babies saved per campaign in the spring campaign than in the fall, even though we have more campaigns in the fall,” Shawn Carney, head of 40 Days for Life, said Monday. 70 Christians had gathered at a Lutheran church for a kick off rally for the 40 Days for Life vigil in Lewisville, Texas... Doctors and others determine whether to resuscitate or to lay the infant on a table until he or she dies, as pro-life advocate and nurse Jill Stanek witnessed and has long testified. Pro-lifers also know that some aborted babies, like pro-life advocates Gianna Jessen and Melissa Ohden, survive being aborted and live to address the issue.

Tony Perkins: Fight Over Infanticide Is Just Beginning

By Tony Perkins, CNSNews - Democrats don't want a vote on infanticide, they explain, “because they know the rest of the country doesn't agree with them – 77 percent of Americans support protections for abortion survivors and 62 percent oppose late-term abortion.” But there's a way around Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) “iron grip” in the House, the men write. It's called the discharge petition. “If a majority of the Members of Congress sign the discharge petition on the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the Speaker will be forced to bring it to the floor for a vote.
