Washington, DCAnother Catholic bishop has spoken up against Cardinal Blase Cupich giving a lifetime achievement award to pro-abortion former Senator Dick Durbin.

Bishop David Ricken of Green Bay, Wisconsin is the latest bishop to oppose the award – saying that nothing makes up for Durbin’s longstanding pro-abortion record to make him deserving of such an honor.

Ricken wrote on X that the Archdiocese of Chicago’s plan to honor Senator Durbin is “untenable” – writing that Cupuich’s honoring of Durbin’s work on immigration and his decades of voting for abortions up to birth “are not mutually exclusive but must be inclusive.” …
