Washington, DC – Catholic Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone compared the moral depravity of aborting an unborn baby to the lynchings of African Americans in the South in a recent interview, saying both involve “the killing of innocent human beings.”

CNS News reports the San Francisco archbishop spoke about how both racism and abortion devalue human beings in an interview with America magazine.

“[A] racial slur is racist,” he told magazine Nov. 9. “It’s wrong, but it’s not as bad as segregation, which is not as bad as lynching.” …
