WASHINGTON, DC – A Catholic university in Maryland is facing criticism for an upcoming event chock-full of abortion activists and progressives who openly defy church teachings about life and family.

According to TFP Student Action, former Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards is slated to be the keynote speaker at the event hosted by Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore.

“When you see the full lineup of anti-Catholic speakers for the event, you’ll understand why the festival should be opposed and denounced,” the pro-life organization wrote.

Under Richards’ leadership, Planned Parenthood killed more than 3 million unborn babies in abortions even as patient numbers shrank and its actual health services declined. Meanwhile, her salary doubled to more than $1 million a year. ….
