A pro-life scholar is pleased to see proof that teenagers are understanding the truth about abortion.

Since 1973, pro-life organizations have been educating the public, including young people, on the reality of abortion. Dr. Michael New, a research associate at the Catholic University of America and an associate scholar at the Charlotte Lozier Institute, tells One News Now the stats are good.

“According to this new data from [the] Guttmacher [Institute], the abortion rate for teenagers aged 15-19 has fallen by 82% since 1980,” he relays. “So we did really well getting the abortion rate down amongst teenagers, and that’s good news. Research shows that a high percentage of abortions are repeat abortions, and if we can stop that first abortion, we may can stop subsequent ones as well.”  …
