The third rendition of the GND jumps on the all-inclusive “infrastructure” gambit.

Two Democrat lawmakers, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Ed Markey, “officially” reintroduced their Green New Deal on Wednesday, because apparently they couldn’t wait a few more hours for Earth Day to roll around. As before, the GND aims to eliminate all use of fossil fuels for energy production over the next decade because we face a climate “emergency.”

Back when AOC first introduced her climate plan, it received so much deserved criticism for being an impossible pipe dream that she dubiously claimed it was just a working draft that was accidentally released early. The estimated price tag on that original plan came in at a mind-boggling $94 trillion over 10 years, or $653,010 per household. …
