Fr. Shenan J. Boquet: The Roe vs Wade Overturn Was Just the Beginning

“Whatever is opposed to life itself, such as any type of murder, genocide, abortion, euthanasia or wilful self-destruction, whatever violates the integrity of the human person… are infamies indeed. They poison human society, but they do more harm to those who practice them than those who suffer from the injury. Moreover, they are supreme dishonor to the Creator…. In June of 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court made the momentous decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. With the stroke of a pen, the Court invalidated the supposed constitutional “right” to abortion that the Court had creatively “discovered” in 1973.

For fifty years, pro-lifers had organized, protested, and prayed with this goal in mind. When the event finally occurred, it was difficult to fathom that after so much blood, sweat and tears, the day had finally come. …
