Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D., blasted the Los Angeles Dodgers for announcing plans to present an award to an anti-Catholic group.

The L.A. chapter of Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will receive a “Community Hero Award” from the baseball team at its annual L.A. Pride Night on June 16. “This is outrageous,” Morse said. “Members of this group dress in grotesque drag costumes meant to mock nuns and the Catholic Church.”

“The Dodgers would never ally themselves with a group attacking any other religion. Imagine them presenting an award to white supremacists or antisemites. Only Catholics are considered legitimate targets for abuse.” …
