Conservative radio host Mark Levin said Thursday that if a government can implement a mask mandate, its power is unlimited.
Levin began the segment by playing the audio of a 60 Minutes interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci from March 8, during which Fauci recommended that Americans not wear masks.
The radio host focused on presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s call for a three-month mask mandate.
“It’s so absurd. He has no constitutional authority to mandate it. And this is what worries me,” Levin said.
“The government that has the power to mandate that you wear a mask, even though the science doesn’t compel it, when you are outside, no matter the conditions, no matter the social distancing, no matter the environment, is a government that’s power is limited how?” he asked. “How is that power limited in any respect? It’s not.”
