WASHINGTON, DC – Today’s Democrat “moderates” are no moderates at all.

When placed next to a socialist like Bernie Sanders, fellow Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg may seem less extreme. But he is no moderate, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee pointed out this week in a column for Fox News.

Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, is now a front-runner in the Democratic primary. Though he has been touted as one of the more moderate candidates, his actual political positions are quite extreme.

As Huckabee wrote, the Indiana Democrat is “so far to the left that it would have been unimaginable in the Democratic Party of President Barack Obama, let alone that of President Bill Clinton.”
