On June 27, Catholics around the world will take part in the Annual Global Rosary Relay for the sanctification of priests, an international prayer event held on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Organized by the Worldpriest Global Apostolate, the event involves a continuous relay of Rosary prayers spanning 24 hours, beginning in Magadan, Russia, and ending at Thomas Aquinas College campuses in Massachusetts and California, according to a recent press release from Worldpriest.

This year’s relay includes a specific intention for Pope Leo XIV, scheduled for 12 p.m. ET. According to the organization, participants are invited to pray the Sorrowful Mysteries for the Holy Father from their homes, churches, schools, hospitals, or any other location at that time. …
