House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) both mocked pro-life Republicans and accused “MAGA (Make America Great Again) grassroots” Wednesday in her condemnation of a bill introduced by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) to ban abortion at 15 weeks, when an unborn baby can feel pain.
Asked at a press conference why some Republicans have been lukewarm towards Sen. Graham’s “Protecting Pain-Capable Unborn Children from Late-Term Abortions Act,” Pelosi replied that they’re rebelling against those Republicans who think life begins the night before conception:
“I think what you’re seeing there is a conflict within the Republican Party. There are those in the party that think life begins at the candlelight dinner the night before. …
