Craig BannisterExplaining her opposition to funding a border wall to protect Americans, House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said that America deaths are “no justification” for giving President Donald Trump the funding he seeks.

American deaths are sad, but unavoidable, “because we live in an imperfect world,” – but, Republicans “find it normal” for children to die in custody or be ripped from their parents’ arms, Pelosi said in her weekly press conference Thursday:

“Clearly, there is a disparity of shared values here, in terms of respecting the dignity and worth of everyone, being concerned about every death that happens because we live in an imperfect world. And, that’s very sad – but, it is not a justification for having more children die in custody or be separated from their families. We’re not even going into that discussion – taking babies out the arms of their parents.

“As the mother of five and grandmother of nine, I find that appalling – they find it normal.

“We talk about what he might do tomorrow, today, as he’s at the border. I think he’s going to have to answer to his own party for usurping that much power.”
