A pro-life organization is calling attention to medical emergencies at a Chicago abortion facility that already has a troubled history.
Pro-Life Action League obtained 9-1-1 records and shared them with Operation Rescue on two patients injured at Family Planning Associates Medical Group in Chicago, where ambulances were called.
“We’re having a patient who’s having a complication after surgery,” a clinic worker reports, referring to an 18-year-old teen.
“What kind of complication? What’s going on?” the dispatcher asks.
“She’s with the doctor right now,” the worker responds. “She’s having bleeding. She’s having uterine bleeding.”
Unable to handle the emergency, the young woman was sent to a hospital emergency room.
Just three days later, a similar call was made for an ambulance to transport a “post-surgical patient” with a “bleeding issue” to Northwestern Hospital.
Operation Rescue has tracked three abortionists who have been known to work at the abortuary: Darwin Jackson, a traveling abortionist; Edwin Lichtenberg, who faces several malpractice lawsuits and was connected with the abortion death of a 13-year-old girl in 1992; and Murray Pelta who has allegedly been named in multiple medical malpractice suits.
