I won’t say “God has a sense of humor” because there’s nothing godly about what happened in Dallas yesterday. But we must register the grim irony. Dallas TV station WFAA reports:

One ICE detainee was killed and two others were wounded after a shooter “opened fire” on a Dallas ICE facility Wednesday morning, Department of Homeland Security officials said. …

The shooter later died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a statement from ICE officials. … No law enforcement officers were injured the shooting, which unfolded around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office at 8101 North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, off Interstate 35E. ….
