Michael W. ChapmanCommenting on President Donald Trump’s decision to pull the United States out of the Obama administration’s deal to end Iran’s nuclear weapon program, Reverend Franklin Graham said “Iran has vowed to wipe Israel off the map” and Trump is “a president who isn’t afraid to lead.”

“President Trump’s approval rating is rising, but a report just out says his media coverage is 90% negative,” said Rev. Graham in a May 9 post on Facebook. “Go figure.”

“Why have his poll numbers risen?” said Graham.  “Because he’s a president who isn’t afraid to lead. He’s not afraid to make decisions. And he’s not afraid to walk alone if necessary.”

“Yesterday he announced the U.S. was withdrawing from the very one-sided Iran nuclear deal that had been signed by the Obama administration,” said the reverend. After the announcement, some in Iran’s parliament burned the American flag in protest.”

“Iran calls America ‘the great Satan,'” said Graham.  “Iran has vowed to wipe Israel off the map. They hold Americans prisoner and persecute Christians.”

“Pray for President Donald J. Trump as he navigates the discussions with other world leaders to put an end to Iran’s nuclear threat,” concluded Rev. Graham.
