Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a medical doctor, said that if you have had COVID or been vaccinated against the virus and are several weeks out from your second dose, you should “throw your mask away and tell Dr. Fauci to take a leap.”
Senator Paul also cited a Stanford University study showing that the mandatory lockdowns made no difference in changing the trajectory of the virus compared to simple health-safety suggestions.
On the Ingraham Angle, Jan. 15, host Laura Ingraham asked Sen. Paul: “We’ve moved from one type of lockdown to another. From COVID to a military one. Are you worried about this constant moving of the goal post in slow creep?”
Paul replied, “Well, absolutely, with regard to the pandemic lockdown, you mentioned the Stanford study. This is a peer-reviewed study in a medical journal that says they studied 10 different countries. And what they found is, is that the mandatory lockdowns did no better than voluntary suggestions.” …
