Washington, DC – Senator James Lankford (R-OK) joined Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) and 125 of their colleagues to demand the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) immediately restore more stringent oversight of chemical abortion pills, including the in-person dispensing requirement the FDA suspended in December.

They sent a letter to FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf that cites studies that affirm the increased health risks to women who use the chemical abortion drug mifepristone. …
