(CNSNews.com) – Reading out facts and figures at Sunday’s coronavirus press conference, President Trump told Americans, “Thing are happening. We’re starting to see light at the end of the tunnel, and hopefully — in the not-too-distant future — we’ll be very proud of the job we all did.

“You can never be happy when so many people are dying, but were going to be very proud of the job we did to keep the death down to an absolute minimum, the least that could have happened with this terrible, terrible virus.”

President Trump enumerated all the things that have happened in recent weeks (see below).

And he took note of the fact that he was speaking on Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week for Christians around the world:

While we may be apart from one another, as you can see from our great churches, our great pastors and ministers are out there working very hard, but we may be apart, we can use this time to turn in prayer in our own personal relationship with God.  ….
