(CNSNews.com) – “Why do we have guns? Why do we have the Second Amendment?” Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) asked on the House floor Wednesday during a debate on gun control.

“Is it to hunt? Sure. Self-defense? That’s even more important,” he said:
