A physics professor is making a moral case against mask mandates and other COVID-19 restrictions.

In an article for The Federalist, David Shane, PhD, a professor of physics at Lansing Community College in Michigan, writes that mask mandates are making people see other people as a threat.

“Various COVID rules like you must wear a mask in these conditions, or even just social distancing rules communicate to people something about the danger level,” Shane tells OneNewsNow. “If you go to a store, and everyone around you is wearing a mask — or even at church, if everyone around you is wearing a mask, that sort of communicates a message that you are in great danger.”
