(CNSNews.com)- If Joe Biden implements the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force recommendations, “Joe Biden will become the most progressive president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and that, at this moment, is what we need,” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) told NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

Sanders is among the people scheduled to speak tonight, the first night of the Democrat National Convention, which will be conducted via remote connections around the country. Candidate Joe Biden will join the convention from his basement studio in Delaware.

On Sunday, NBC’s Chuck Todd asked Sanders, “How do you feel overall about the party platform, and do you feel like you’ve got enough of your views represented in it?” ….
