By Scott McKay, The American Spectator - BATON ROUGE — A man claimed he was unfairly fired from his job after he refused to use the pronouns that another employee said they used.
Luke Ash, a former library employee and pastor, said he knows that what he did was against the library's code of conduct for employees, but he says calling his co-workers by the pronouns they identify with would be against his own beliefs... Ash worked at the library for fewer than six months. He was fired Thursday after having a conversation with a co-worker about another co-worker. In the conversation he refused to refer to the second co-worker by their proper pronouns.

By Craig Bannister, MRC TV - “Changing birth certificates for desired genders is falsifying records,” Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita said, announcing that he is filing motions to intervene in cases where Indiana trial courts have ordered the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) to change the designation of sex on birth certificates to reflect preferred gender identities... “One should have no more ability to change the listed sex on a birth certificate years after the fact than to change the newborn’s listed length or weight,” Rokita explained in his office’s press release.

By Susan Berry, Ph.D., Catholic Vote - A 2012 study that drew a firestorm over its conclusion that children of parents in same-sex relationships fared worse on various social and emotional outcome variables compared with those in other family structure types has now been vindicated... Univ. of Texas at Austin sociologist Mark Regnerus, who conducted the highly disputed study, wrote that, “[w]hen compared with children who grew up in biologically (still) intact, mother-father families, the children of women who reported a same-sex relationship look markedly different on numerous outcomes, including many that are obviously suboptimal (such as education, depression, employment status, or marijuana use).”

By Calvin Freiburger, LifeSiteNews - The latest cinematic iteration of Superman hit theaters last week, and because we live in an era where a superhero can’t just be a superhero anymore, it was accompanied by all-too-familiar chatter about how woke it would be... the film’s director, James Gunn, threw fuel on the fire when he said in a pre-release interview, “Yes, it’s about politics,” and touted it as an “immigrant that came from other places and populated the country, but for me it is mostly a story that says basic human kindness is a value and is something we have lost.”
