By Scott Ventureyra, Crisis Magazine - On February 5, three prominent biologists and presidents of major biological associations wrote a letter to President Trump and Congress opposing his January 2025 Executive Order 14168, titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.” The letter alleges that scientific evidence contradicts the binary view of sex by emphasizing the complexity of sex determination involving chromosomes, hormones, and anatomy, and highlighting variations that suggest sex and gender are not strictly binary traits.

In Iceland, that number is nearly 100%, while in Denmark it’s 98%, and in Australia, it is about 90%... March 21, 2012, was the first World Down Syndrome Day. This day reminds the world how precious and special are those with Down syndrome and how we must be their voice so that they can attain their full potential.

By Catholic World News - The USCCB has issued an action alert asking the faithful to urge their members of Congress to “protect and support Dreamers, especially DACA beneficiaries and those who are part of mixed-status families.”... “Dreamers,” named after the DREAM Act, are immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children. DACA refers to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, President Barack Obama’s 2012 executive action deferring deportation of “Dreamers” and permitting them to work in the nation legally without providing a path to citizenship. ...
