A family activist dedicated to electing conservative candidates to Congress is warning Christians that if they continue to refuse to get involved in politics, then they will be partly responsible when the world sinks “into another dark age.”

While America winds down its 20-year war in Afghanistan, Republican members of Congress continue to criticize the chaotic situation, and more than 30 are demanding that President Biden resign or be impeached. According to Politico, U.S. officials have even shared intelligence with the Taliban, with one defense official saying, “Basically, they just put all those Afghans on a kill list.”

During a recent appearance on American Family Radio, Gary Bauer, chairman of the Campaign for Working Families, said prayer is important, but it needs to be followed by action from Christians who never get involved in politics. …
