The Minnesota Bishops Conference

By Complicit Clergy by Staff February 7, 2025

The Minnesota Bishops Conference is pointing fingers at the politicians for the illegal immigration crisis, as revealed in a press released issued today:

The Minnesota Catholic Conference on Friday released a statement condemning both political parties for contributing to a “leadership failure” which caused the nation’s immigration struggles.

The group, which represents the Catholic Church’s public policy stances in the Gopher State, demanded serious reform to the U.S.’s approach to immigration. It blamed the Biden administration for “exacerbating” the country’s existing problems.

“Sadly, our nation’s immigration system is broken,” the conference wrote. “Elected officials in both major political parties have failed to rise above political calculation and collaborate on a solution rooted in respect for migrants and the common good of the nation. This leadership failure has resulted in repeated conflicts at the border and in our communities that have only grown worse.”

The Minnesota bishops statements echos many of the same deceptive talking points being used by Catholic bishops across the nation.

Not one of these bishops had the courage to speak-out when the Biden administration was allowing millions of illegal aliens to unlawfully enter the United States, but somehow now they have found their voices when the Trump administration is correcting this injustice?

It is truly remarkable how these bishops refuse to take responsibility for the crisis they have helped create, as reflected in the following stories:

Vice President Vance was spot-on when he said that U.S. bishops need to take an honest look in the mirror.
