“I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City.” That is New York City Eric Adams’s dire message to New Yorkers and the Biden Administration.

The messages come on the heels of a gloomy reality that Adams and mayors across the country face as city budgets balloon out of control. This is a direct result of services, like food and shelter, provided to illegal immigrants for nearly 18 months.

Initially, Democrat cities like New York and Chicago welcomed the border crossers. They even taunted themselves as open to all because of their sanctuary city status.

Daily, residents watched as their mayor and city council members welcomed the illegals with open arms. They even criticized anyone who said it was unsustainable for a city government to take on such a huge financial task at the risk of running out of money. They call those wanting to stop the influx of illegals racist (never mind the fact immigration laws were being broken). ….
