Simone Legno of the tokidoki company, designer of the Vatican mascot “Luce”, has produced vulgar art, including graphic designs for vibrators.
An online search on tokidoki shows that the cartoonist is involved in productions and partnerships to promote various products with his “characters”. Legno has worked with Karl Lagerfeld, the Guggenheim Museum, Hello Kitty, Marvel, Barbie and Canon, among others.
In 2017, in collaboration with the brand Lovehoney, he lent his images to a line of vibrators. One of the series features a little devil (pictured).
Another Legno character is the subtly sexualised “Dragon Girl”. She combines a “cute” aesthetic with suggestive visuals such as dragon motifs, tattoos, body-hugging outfits and poses. …
